Today is temporary.
This life is temporary.
The only constant is change.
Interviews are nerve-racking. There are many things to keep in mind and to prepare: research othe company, practice your answers (at least to the questions that you think you can prepare for). Then there is the choice of what clothes to wear. Determining the time you should leave in order to get to the interview site on time.
Am I forgetting anything?
Oh yes, don’t forget to breathe.
Likely you will get a bit nervous. And a little anxious. Aa result you might forget to do one very important thing: You will forget to breathe, which in turn will cause you to get even more anxious (your body needs air 😁).
There are many things that are out of our control. So, breathe, my friend!

As I get older I realize that I will never have another second of my life back. Death does not worry me. It is inevitable that my body should cease it’s function. What scares me is regret and the idea that the light from the candle of my life was dim instead of burning so bright as to illuminate the whole universe.
We are not born in order to live in comfort, to spend all of our days sleeping comfortably while enveloped in the warmth of our feathery beds. What a bore life would be if all we had are luxuries and security. What makes people so special as to think that we should get all that we want?
What is the purpose of our being if not to realize how far we can go in life. I am not just talking about thrill-seeking pursuits. We can go ptetty far in the matters of the heart and mind. What do mean when we say that we want success? A brand new shiny car? A big house? A different kind of marker that declares to the world: I made it! By chasing external dictates we suffocate our internal drive to self-actualization. Not everyone can achieve an equal measure of success. But an individual can and should define what success truly means deep down in the heart.
What makes the time allotted to us worthwhile is not having an easy road to travel on. It is the ability to acquire the strength to endure and persevere in order to see what we are ultimately are capable of.
Knowledge is an eternal flame.
Struggle is mandatory. Suffering is optional.
You have get uncomfortable. You have to be uncomfortable. You will be uncomfortable.
To live is to not want to suffer. To live is to suffer. You will suffer.
Control what is in your hands and leave the rest to faith. We are not meant to foresee all the variables and possibilities. Why stress?
Responsibility – here is an interesting word – nagging discomfort due to thinking that you can control what happens to a particular thing. Thus, discomfort = responsibility.
Comfort is momentary. We bounce around, wall to wall, like a pinball, seeking that high score of comfort. No chance.
Thus, if you are alive then be at peace with being uncomfortable. Know that such discomforting thoughts are not optional. Why stress?
School = discomfort
Bills = discomfort
Life = struggle
If life is struggle then struggle is life. That is where you find the meaning for your existence. In running away from struggle your are running away from yourself.
You find yourself through struggle.
A sword will never be forged if the metal does not experience the pain of being hit by the blacksmith’s hammer.
Your happiness is elevated by the pain you’ve been through. Your suffering makes you appreciate the happiness and beauty with greater intensity.
Remember, it is not enough to be hit or insulted to be harmed, you must believe that you are being harmed. If someone succeeds in provoking you, realize that your mind is complicit in the provocation. Whichis whyit is essential that wenot respond impulsively to impressions; take a moment before reacting, and you will find it is easier to maintain control.
